KSI finally reacts to Gordon Ramsay's savage review of Prime, his face says it all

YouTuber-turned-boxer KSI swallowed his pride and finally watched Gordon Ramsay’s ruthless reaction to tasting his highly popular Prime energy drink.

KSI, who recently knocked out FaZe Temperrr at the latest Misfits Boxing event, launched the Prime Hydration brand alongside fellow YouTube star Logan Paul.

Asda and Aldi are two of the retailers in the UK which have been met with chaotic scenes of fans trying to snag a bottle from Paul and KSI’s energy drink range.

Prime, which has been supplied to Premier League club Arsenal, has made waves in the news over scalpers acquiring the in-demand drink and reselling bottles at extortionate prices.

Ramsay made an appearance on Heart Solent earlier this month and was asked for his verdict on Prime while on live radio.

The multi-Michelin-starred chef pulled no punches and awarded the drink a zero out of 10, with Ramsay comparing it to the “dregs” of a Gino D’Acampo tiramisu.

“Okay, so that smells a bit high. Oh, Jesus, it’s like swallowing perfume,” Ramsay said.

“What is that? I’ll send it to Nigella [Lawson] to cook her pork ribs in.

“Can you imagine giving that to a French sommelier with his big French conk? Yeah, it’s like the sort of dregs of a sort of Gino D’Acampo tiramisu.

“What would I give it out of 10? A zero.”

Ramsay’s savage review of Prime popped up on KSI’s radar, with the YouTuber-turned-rapper well aware of what to expect even before he watched the clip.

After seeing Ramsay’s clip on Reddit and before he even loaded it, KSI said on his YouTube channel: “He’s going to say it’s s**t, innit.

“It’s Gordon Ramsay, he hates everything that isn’t his.”

Following Ramsay’s brutal remarks of comparing Prime to the dregs of D’Acampo’s tiramisu, KSI was unsure if the superstar celebrity chef had insulted his drink or not.

“No-one knows what the f**k he’s talking about? Surely, what is he… [laughs] What did that mean, okay? I’m not that much of a boomer,” he said in response.

“I don’t know if that was an insult or if he was complementing Prime. I think it was an insult by the way she’s laughing, but like, I don’t know how much of an insult.”

KSI took it on the chin after hearing Ramsay’s damning zero score for the Prime drink, but he urged the Hell’s Kitchen star to try the new flavour of strawberry watermelon.

“Wow. Great. Try the other flavours, he might like the new flavour,” he continued.
