FIFA 22 Player Shows Brilliant Trick To Score Corners Easily When Opponent Brings Goalkeeper Off The Line

"I do this. Brings me pure joy when they look like a tit," one FIFA 22 player said. A must-watch clip for anyone who plays Ultimate Team.

A FIFA 22 player has shared a helpful trick on how to score directly from a corner when an opponent is annoyingly bringing their goalkeeper off the line.

Reddit user mrshandanar came up against an opponent who decided to bring their ‘keeper off the line in a bid to make life more difficult in finding a player from a corner.

But mrshandanar now revealed how players can nullify the aforementioned goalkeeping tactic on FIFA 22 Ultimate Team.

During a match on FUT Division Rivals, the Redditor swapped the right-footed Trent Alexander-Arnold off corner duties in favour of the left-footed Mohamed Salah.

And mrshandanar aimed the reticle towards the back post, with the goal fully exposed due to the goalkeeper being brought out past the six-yard area.

The Reddit user pulled the trigger shy of the maximum power, with Salah’s curling strike flying over the player at the front post and landing into the back of the empty net.

One person wrote: “Works with Pereira as well -- yes, Ricardo Pereira. I never save my clips but have with these. Usually, my opponent will watch the replay too. So satisfying.”

Someone else posted: “Scored one the other day with the SBC [Nabil] Fekir, which I know a lot of people use.”

And a third added: “I do this. Brings me pure joy when they look like a tit.”

While another said: “Once you switched to the left-[footed] player, really, only he can be blamed for this.”

FIFA 22 launched earlier this month for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

The next instalment in EA Sports’ long-standing franchise could have a new name amid the publisher’s standoff with FIFA over the licensing agreement.

FIFA is reportedly demanding a staggering $1bn -- double the amount of the fee now -- to renew the licence, which is set to expire near the end of 2022.
