Angry Ginge's best friend has revealed the 'real reason' why he has signed up for I'm A Celebrity.

The latest instalment of I'm A Celebrity is set to get underway on Sunday, November 16 on ITV.

Social media influencer Angry Ginge - real name Morgan Burtwistle - and ex-women's football star Alex Scott are among the contestants for this year's line-up.

Angry Ginge, who manages Baller League team Yanited, has gained huge fame through his Twitch stream, not to mention his appearance at this year's Soccer Aid, where he was named Man of the Match.

Given his popularity, the Salford lad is the current odds-on favourite to be crowned the King of the jungle.

But the 23-year-old isn't going on I'm A Celeb to win the show.

He has entered the jungle to find a girlfriend.

That's according to fellow influencer and close pal Tays, who revealed what Angry Ginge told him before jetting out to Australia.

"Ginge told me before he went on there, that he's going on I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here to find a girlfriend," he said.

"That is the reason he said he is going on I'm A Celebrity. He said that he is going there to find a girlfriend."

Scousemali added: "He's going on there to find love. I mean I never got told this, Tays MCR got told this information then Scouse Somali got told second this information. Scouse Somali from Liverpool."

Whether Tays is telling the truth or not remains to be seen as I'm A Celeb 2025 is just days away.

Before heading down under, Angry Ginge issued a final plea to his army of fans.

"If you are seeing this I have officially been announced. Just literally finished my last stream then before I went obviously couldn’t do like a proper, proper goodbye because otherwise gives it away," he said.

"Without you, I wouldn’t even be able to go in the jungle. So first of all, thank you very much. Yeah, basically just wanted to come on and say thank you. It should be good, should be interesting. Please don’t vote for me to do too many trials is what I will say. If I do get voted for them I will do me very best."

Angry Ginge will join stars like model Kelly Brook, Emmerdale actress Lisa Riley, Spandau Ballet singer Martin Kemp and rapper Aitch to name but a few.
