The ex-girlfriend of Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce has been accused of aiming a thinly veiled dig at the NFL star and his fiancée, Taylor Swift.
Kelce and Swift began dating in the summer of 2023 and have since got engaged. The pair are arguably one of the most spoken about couples on the planet right now, with fans watching their every move.
As individuals, though, they are successful in their own right with Kelce having won three Super Bowls with the Kansas City Chiefs in 2020, 2023 and 2024.
As for Swift, she recently achieved her 15th number one album on the Billboard 200 following the release of her latest work, ‘The Life of a Showgirl’.

During the album, which contains 12 songs, Kelce is believed to be referenced several times.
One of the songs on the album, 'Wood', was a topic of discussion in an episode of Kelce's New Heights Podcast, which he hosts alongside his brother, fellow NFL legend Jason.
Part of the song ‘Wood’ goes as follows: "Forgive me, it sounds cocky / He ah-matised me and opened my еyes / Redwood tree, it ain't hard to see / His love was thе key that opened my thighs."

During the chat with his brother, Jason asked Travis how he felt about it, to which the Chiefs star replied: “No. Any song, you know, that she references me in is very… I love that girl, what do you mean? Any song that she would reference me in any way."
And despite most people wishing Swift and Kelce well in both their careers and relationship, their ex-partners no doubt keep an eye on all things to do with the popular duo.
As reported by Cosmopolitan, 35-year-old Swift has previously dated several famous faces, including Joe Jonas, Lucas Till and Taylor Lautner.
Meanwhile, Kelce’s notable former partner is Kayla Nicole, with whom he was in a relationship between 2017 and 2022.

Now, a video of Nicole has certainly got fans talking, with some accusing her of disrespecting Kelce and Swift with her recent Halloween costume.
The 33-year-old dressed up as R&B singer Toni Braxton in a video posted on social media, which resembled the 2000 hit ‘He Wasn’t Man Enough For Me’.
Part of the iconic song goes: “I'm not thinking 'bout him / But you married him / Do you know I made him leave?
“Do you know he begged to stay with me? / He wasn't man enough for me.”

And the video has caused fans to accuse Nicole of throwing shade at her ex and his new partner on social media.
One said: “Travis broke up with her, and I’m sure he’s so depressed he’s now with the most famous woman on earth who adores him.”
Another added: “Come on, this song is about as old as they’ve been broken up, and she’s still doing this.”
While a third claimed: “If my ex didn’t marry me after 5 years of being together and he moved onto TAYLOR SWIFT and proposed after two years, I would be jealous too.”
