NFL legend Tom Brady has announced his retirement for a second time, insisting that it’s ‘for good’ this time.
One of the greatest athletes to ever grace the field, Brady took to social media to make his announcement.
Unlike his previous retirement where he gave out extensive thanks for the support throughout his career, the quarterback kept this one short and sweet.
In a video lasting under a minute, he says: “Good morning guys. I'll get to the point right away.

"I'm retiring. For good."
The 45-year-old briefly left the sport following the 2021 season, but upon reflection wasn’t entirely ready to hang up to say goodbye.
He would up coming back for one more year with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, whose season finished in a loss to the Dallas Cowboys in the Wild Card round.

It raised questions of whether this was indeed to be the final swan song for Brady.
And now he answered those questions.
He continued in the video: “I know the process was a pretty big deal last time, so when I woke up this morning, I figured I'd just press record and let you guys know first.
"I won't be long-winded. You only get one super emotional retirement essay and I used mine up last year.

"I really thank you guys so much, to every single one of you for supporting me. My family, my friends, teammates, my competitors. I could go on forever. There's too many.
"Thank you guys for allowing me to live my absolute dream. I wouldn't change a thing. Love you all."
His career will go down in folklore, and he will be remembered as one of the greatest passers in the history of the sport.

He is the only player to win more than five Super Bowls with seven to his name, while he was named the NFL’s MVP in 2007, 2010, and 2017.
