Legendary quarterback Tom Brady has been 'banned' from making a return to the field and re-joining the NFL.
Brady is widely regarded as the greatest quarterback in history, having won seven Super Bowls during an illustrious career.
The 48-year-old spent the majority of his career with the New England Patriots, winning 17 division titles and six Super Bowls between 2000 and 2019.
Brady then moved to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, where he won a seventh Super Bowl, meaning he has appeared in the NFL's biggest game on 10 occasions.

In the process, he set a range of seemingly untouchable records, including most career passing yards and touchdown passes.
Since retiring from playing, he has remained involved with the sport and is currently working as a colour commentator for Fox Sports.
The New York Post reported that Brady's deal with Fox will see him earn an astonishing $375 million over 10 years.

Last year, Brady also bought a minority stake in the Las Vegas Raiders, who have won just two of their 13 games so far this season.
However, he indicated that his partial ownership of an NFL team is preventing him from making a return to the field.
Speaking on the latest episode of The Herd, while discussing Phillip Rivers' return, Brady suggested he would follow him out of retirement if it were not for the rule.
Earlier this week, Phillip Rivers, 44, signed with the Indianapolis Colts ahead of making a potential return as a replacement for their injured quarterback Daniel Jones.
Colin Cowherd asked Brady if he would be able to "generate drives" with an offensive scheme he was familiar with.

The NFL legend replied: "I certainly could... I would say the answer for me would be yes.
"I'm not allowed to anymore, because I'm an owner, a minority owner of the Raiders. So I can't un-retire. But I'm very excited to watch Philip play."
Brady has previously retired only to change his mind and return to the game.
He initially retired in February 2022, but just six weeks later reversed his decision and returned.
Brady said he had "unfinished business" and chose to come back for another season with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
In his final season, the Bucs qualified for the playoffs, where they lost to the Dallas Cowboys.
After that defeat, Brady posted an emotional video, confirming he was "retiring for good."
Although the legendary quarterback may want to return to the field, his ownership stake with the Raiders rules out any comeback.
