NFL star Travis Kelce’s mother, Donna, gave an interesting answer regarding Taylor Swift when asked a tough question ahead of her appearance on ‘The Traitors’.
Kansas City Chiefs star Travis and his now-fiancée, Taylor, have been dating since the summer of 2023 and are arguably one of the most well-known couples on the planet.
The duo announced their engagement in August of 2025, with the singer receiving a 10-carat diamond ring from the NFL star.
Swift appears to have a positive relationship with the Kelce family, including Travis’ mother, Donna, and his brother Jason.

Fans will no doubt be interested to see how the 73-year-old gets along with her fellow contestants, but it’s safe to say she’s glad certain people won’t be taking part.
Speaking in a preview for the show posted to the ‘New Heights’ podcast X account, the mother of two was asked who she would not want to appear alongside, to which she replied: “Maybe some of my sons’ adversaries.
“That could either be on other teams, or it could be coaches, or it could be past girlfriends.”

This could be interpreted as a nod of approval towards Swift and a summary of her thoughts on Travis’ ex-girlfriend Kayla Nicole, with whom he was in an on-off relationship between 2017 and 2022.
Before dating the YouTuber, Travis also dated social media personality Maya Benberry.
Kelce’s mother then went on to reveal that it was, in fact, Jason who encouraged her to take part in the show.
“They're so excited. They're huge fans,” Donna said. “I'm so excited to be here. I never thought in a million years I would get this chance.

“When you get to a certain part in your life, and your kids are starting their own families, it's so important to reinvent yourself. Do the things you've always dreamt of. And that's how I ended up in Scotland.”
