Following the tragic news, tributes have poured in from Moore's former teammates and fellow NFL players, with many praising his talents on the field despite being held back by several injuries.
Just days before his death, Moore shared a post on Instagram that has since drawn attention, raising important questions about mental health in professional sports.

“We are deeply saddened by the passing of Rondale Moore,” Moore's team, the Minnesota Vikings, said in a statement.
It continued: "While we are working to understand the facts, we have spoken with Rondale’s family to offer our condolences and the full support of the Minnesota Vikings.
The Vikings' statement also confirmed that it would be providing counseling and emotional support to all players, staff and anyone else in need following the shocking news.
It comes after fans took to Moore's social media to offer their tributes, where they discovered a recent Instagram carousel showing Moore enjoying life with song lyrics that included the line "I don't feel no better..."
The song in question is 'GO' by American rapper EST Gee.
Although some have suggested that the song lyrics could show that Moore had been struggling with his mental health, others have noted that is important not to draw conclusions about his private life from his social media presence.

Following an impressive college career a Purdue university, Moore was selected as a second-round pick for the Arizona Cardinals at the 2021 NFL Draft and spent three years with the team before being traded to the Atlanta Falcons in March 2024.
Unfortunately, the wide receiver suffered a year-ending knee injury shortly after the move that ruled im out of the entire 2024 campaign.
In March 2025, Moore signed a one-year deal with the Minnesota Vikings but was again held back after suffering a knee injury that ruled him out of the second season in a row.
"While Rondale had been a member of the Vikings for a short time, he was someone we came to know well and care about deeply," said Vikings head coach Kevin O'Connell O'Connell in a statement.
"He was a humble, soft-spoken, and respectful young man who was proud of his Indiana roots. As a player, he was disciplined, dedicated and resilient despite facing adversity multiple times as injuries sidelined him throughout his career.
"We are all heartbroken by the fact he won't continue to live out his NFL dream and we won't all have a chance to watch him flourish."
