
Donald Trump has weighed in with his response to Bad Bunny's selection as the Super Bowl's half-time show performer in 2026.
Super Bowl LX will take place at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California - the third time the football game has been hosted in the San Francisco Bay area.
Late last month, reggaeton sensation Bad Bunny was announced as the act who will perform a 15-minute set in the middle of the turf.
All acts are decided by the NFL, in partnership with sponsors Apple Music and Jay-Z's entertainment firm Roc Nation.

There were rumours that Taylor Swift was in the frame to perform but she explained the truth behind the rumours in an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
Zaileen Janmohamed, the president and CEO of the Bay Area Host Committee, said he is confident Bad Bunny, who primarily sings in Spanish, will "deliver an unforgettable experience".

Jay-Z, meanwhile, said he and his Roc Nation company are "honored to have him on the world’s biggest stage".

However Trump, who was the first sitting president to attend a Super Bowl last year, slammed the decision to give the Puerto Rican the enormous platform.
“I don’t know who he is. I don’t know why they’re doing it — it’s, like, crazy,” Trump said in an interview with Newsmax’s Greg Kelly on Monday night.
“They blame it on some promoter they hired to pick up entertainment. I think it’s absolutely ridiculous.”
Bunny, real name Benito Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio, is known as the 'King of Latin Trap' and recently hosted Saturday Night Live.

Having endorsed Kamala Harris in the 2024 election, he has been critical of Trump's immigration policies and said he did not include any mainland US tour dates amid concerns of the shows being raided by ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) and a mass deportation of Latinos ensuing.

The Happy Gilmore star had a 31-date residency in Puerto Rico, bringing roughly half a million people to the island.
As per The Athletic, a Trump administration official confirmed ICE agents will be in attendance at the game.

The 31-year-old, who was competed in a handful of matches in an impressive WWE run, becomes the first ever Latin-American artist to perform at the Super Bowl.
According to Luminate, an industry data and analytics company, his streaming numbers have experienced a 26% increase since he was announced as the Super Bowl headliner.
