Tottenham fans may have grown frustrated this summer over their club's lack of action in the transfer market, yet their prayers may also have been answered with the latest news coming out of the club.
It is being reported in Turkey that Trabzonspor are willing to take £30 million flop Moussa Sissoko off the North London club's hands, only a year after the French international arrived from Newcastle United.
The decision to gazump Everton for the former Magpies' winger's signature was widely questioned by Spurs supporters at the time of the deal and in the intervening 12 months, Sissoko has done little to dispel any doubts the fans at White Hart Lane may have had about him.

Sissoko failed to impress during his 33 appearances appearances last term, laying on just four assists and failing to score a single goal and suffering the indignation of being publicly criticised by his manager, when Mauricio Pochettino admitted that the former Toulouse man had 'failed to live up to expectations', in November, last year.

Now, with Pochettino willing to allow the 27-year-old to bring a premature end to his North London nightmare, Trabzonspor president Muharrem Usta confirmed that the Turkish club are in talks with the French winger over a potential loan move, via TurkishFootball.com.

"We are in talks with Moussa Sissoko.
"He is a very important player, Tottenham paid £35 million for him.
"He didn't live up to expectations last season but this can happen in football.
"We want to loan him and get his career back on track.

"Obviously Tottenham do not want to give up on a player they paid that kind of money for but we will see."
While the deal would only be temporary to begin with, it is expected that the Turkish outfit would look to have an option to buy clause inserted into a deal for the 27-year-old.
