Seven-time NBA champions Golden State Warriors are in the process of lining up their big player moves ahead of the 2025-26 season and former Charlotte Hornets guard Seth Curry is reportedly on their shopping list.
Golden State have already moved to extend 22-year-old Jonathan Kuminga along with pushing for deals with Gary Payton II, De'Anthony Melton and ex-Boston Celtics centre Al Horford, and the possible acquisition of Seth Curry will depend on the Kuminga deal.
"They also still hope to sign Seth Curry but Golden State’s to-the-dollar flexibility won’t be known until Kuminga specifics are known," reported Marc Stein.
Kuminga, drafted in the first round by the Warriors in 2021, is in demand and has until Wednesday to decide on a qualifying offer from his current team.

"With his contract negotiations still at a stalemate, Jonathan Kuminga wasn't in attendance for the Golden State Warriors' training camp on Monday at San Francisco's Chase Center," according to Warriors Wire.
The details of any deal done with the forward will go some way to determining whether Seth joins his brother, NBA icon Steph Curry, in San Francisco.
35-year-old Seth is a guard who was undrafted in 2013 and has moved teams on a near-annual basis since joining the Memphis Grizzlies that year.

Having been born and brought up in Charlotte, the younger Curry brother returned to North Carolina play for the Hornets last season.
He's played in 550 regular season NBA games between 2013 and 2025 and is set to link up with his brother as they move into the last few years of their careers.
There's just one small issue to get out of the way first – and it's not Seth's contract.

Steph is one of the most decorated individual players in the history of the NBA and also its highest-paid.
He has made the number 30 jersey his own and it's a tribute to his father, Dell Curry, who was a shooting guard in the 1980s and 1990s.
Which Curry brother will keep his number?
Naturally, Seth made the same choice and has worn the number 30 jersey throughout his NBA career.

Should the younger brother make the move to the Warriors, one of the two will have to give up his preferred number.
it won't be an easy choice for Seth and it might be an awkward conversation, but the outcome is straightforward.
In basketball, there are few situations in which Steph Curry doesn't come out on top.
