NBA icon Kevin Garnett gave insight into the Olympic village experience and provided a flavour of just how much sex goes on.
The latest showpiece took place in Paris last year and it was reported that 300,000 condoms were handed out to 10,500 athletes in the village.
Safe sex has been promoted around the Olympics since 1988, with condoms available to those staying in the village.
As you would expect, many have taken advantage of the free condoms - with there being a raft of wild sex stories involving athletes who represented their country at the highest level. Micah Richards, the former Manchester City defender, said he was "on absolute fire" off the pitch in London in 2012 when he represented Team GB.
Meanwhile, Former US goalkeeper Hope Solo said she saw people having sex "right out in the open" - including "on the grass" and "between buildings" during her experience.
At the 2000 Olympics in Sydney, US javelin thrower Breaux Greer slept with three athletes every day.
And at that very same event, 2008 NBA champion Garnett witness first-hand the demand for sex in the village.

He described the whole experience as "one of the best times of my life" and during an appearance on the All the Smoke podcast at the start of the year, he recalled the experience of seeing a large bowl of condoms empty in rapid fashion.
"Let me tell you something, Olympics is all game banger," Garnett said.
"The dopest thing about the Olympics is, day one when you get there, they got a place that only the athletes can go.
"So as you come in the village, me, Ray Allen, Jason Kidd and Dice, walk through the village on the first day. We go to the game room. This game room was probably about 10,000 square feet. It's got games, it's got everything you can do in here. Every athlete that is in the Olympics is hitting the table.
"As we're walking in, there's dorms that look like apartments. It's about 1000 people just walking around.
“We’re going in here, everybody hitting the table. Some small dude, you can’t even see him. He got a trash can. He walking, he walking. Finally, he gets to this big old bowl on the table. You don’t even know this is a bowl. The man dumps about 10,000 condoms in the middle of the thing. And then, as he gets out of the way, you can’t even see him no more because after about 30 seconds, it’s not a condom left in the bowl.”
NBA players were moved away from village
Though the tradition of the village is that all athletes and their flags are in the same space, there was a sudden urge to ensure the stars of the NBA - considerably more famous than others - were instructed to go elsewhere.
Sex is rife in the Olympic village as athletes release their energy. Image: Getty He added: “It cracked so hard, security got us out of there. It’s like, ‘No, you’ve got to get y’all out of here,'. And they don’t let NBA players in the village because they’re so influential. They got us out of there so fast. I’m talking about NBA security.
"They would have all of us, the players, about 90 minutes away."
The Olympic village being more like a teen holiday is said to be because athletes want to "live out their energy".
And though it is not exactly encouraged by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) - particularly with the cardboard 'anti-sex' beds - it is pretty much accepted intimacy is going to happen.
The next edition of the Olympic Games takes place in Los Angeles in 2028 and one would anticipate the sex drive will remain high.
