Bronny James Clip From Blazers Game Emerges as Verdict Reached After Four Games

Bronny James failed to take his chance against the Portland Trail Blazers.

Footage of Bronny James from the Los Angeles Lakers' stinging defeat to the Portland Trail Blazers has surfaced as a verdict has been reached after just four games.

The Lakers resumed their NBA campaign on Monday, having beaten the Sacramento Kings in their last outing on the court.

But they slumped to their second defeat of the season when they came up against the Trail Blazers.

They beat the Lakers 122-108 at the Crypto.com arena.

LeBron James' son, Bronny, featured in the NBA clash in Los Angeles and failed to impress some fans on social media.

The 21-year-old registered three assists and one steal against the Trail Blazers but did not score a single point in 20 minutes as footage of his performance emerged on Reddit.

He has played significant minutes off the bench because of the Lakers' long injury list, but he has failed to take his chance, with the likes of LeBron, Luka Doncic and Gabe Vincent sidelined.

Lakers fans took to social media to lament Bronny's 0-point against the Trail Blazers.

One X user wrote: "I just watched Bronny get cooked on defence, turn over the ball twice, and then again get lost on a switch. The Lakers are shorthanded but it’s absurd that this kid is an NBA player. There are substantially better guys that never get a look in the league than him."

A second added: "Bronny should’ve just picked up football man. It’s way too much pressure and scrutiny for basketball and I don’t think he's gonna get over that."

A third slammed: "Bronny James might be the worst basketball player I’ve ever witnessed," while another argued: "Bronny James is actually an elite defender he needs more playing time."

The Lakers dropped to 2-2 in their first four games and resume their campaign against the Minnesota Timberwolves.

When will LeBron James return from his injury?

Bronny hasn't played for the Lakers this season with his legendary father on the court.

The 41-year-old icon has missed the start of the season but is progressing well and expected back within three weeks.

That's according to ESPN's Dave McMenamin, who claims James is on track to return to the Lakers' line-up by mid-November as he continues his rehabilitation from a lingering sciatica issue that has kept him sidelined since the start of the season.
