Paddy Pimblett has teased his next fight that would stun the MMA world as he has tipped the UFC to make it happen.

Pimblett registered the biggest win of his professional career in his last outing, stopping Michael Chandler in their lightweight clash at UFC 314 last April.

He has now won seven fights in a row since joining the MMA leaders, impressing fans and critics alike - including Joe Rogan.

Pimblett has beaten the likes of Tony Ferguson and King Green en route to becoming a contender in the 155lbs division.

His next UFC fight is still in the works, having called out several names following his victory over Chandler.

But a UFC championship clash against Ilia Topuria could be on the cards this year.

That's according to Pimblett himself as he is convinced the UFC will match him against Topuria if he beats Charles Oliveira for the vacant UFC lightweight title at this month's UFC 317.

If victorious over Oliveira, the Liverpool fighter reckons he'll get the next shot at the UFC lightweight title if he is called out.

"If Ilia [Topuria] wins and says he wants to fight me, the UFC will make that fight because they know it's a money fight," he told Tom Aspinall on his YouTube channel.

"I know I'd beat him... I know how to beat him. No one goes for his weaknesses, everyone just tries to have a boxing match with him."

'The Baddy' added: "I'm going to beat him with me all round MMA game and I'd reckon I proper hate hurt him."

Topuria and Pimbletl have history following their clashes at UFC London back in March 2022 and at a UFC 282 pre-fight press conference in December 2022.

And speaking ahead of his championship showdown against Oliveira, the Spanish star said he 'hates' Pimblett.

"He’s a hypocrite," he said of his rival. "I’ll tell you, I remember we shared a press conference once and he said something like, 'I’m fighting on the main card and you’re on the prelims', some kind of nonsense. And now I’m thinking, I have two [featherweight] belts, who are you? Who the f**k is Paddy Pimblett right now? And why would he deserve to fight me right now?

"Honestly, if I could choose a fight, I would fight him because I hate him. He’s a pain in the ass."

Topuria returns to action in a couple of weeks, having beaten Alexander Volkanovski and Max Holloway in back-to-back UFC featherweight championship bouts.
