A former UFC champion has revealed that he gave Dana White a unique gift despite being cut from the organisation.
It's no secret that fighting in the UFC is an incredibly tough gig for more reasons than one.
Of course, it takes a truly remarkable human being to be able to step into an octagon in front of thousands of people and fight someone, but what many fans don't consider is how difficult it is to stay within the UFC.

Although there are several other notable MMA organisations, the UFC is widely viewed as the pinnacle of the sport, and fighting under its banner typically leads to the biggest pay day.
Therefore, only the world's top fighters typically can keep a spot in rankings, a fact that one fighter was brutally reminded of shortly after he gave UFC boss White a special gift.

Nearly 25 years after his UFC debut, former heavyweight champion Andrei Arlovski shocked fans when he announced that his next fight would instead be inside Conor McGregor's bare knuckle fighting championship.

While speaking to renowned MMA journalist Ariel Helwani, the 46-year-old later confirmed that his decision to do so came after the UFC asked him to leave the organisation off the back of losing four fights in a row.
And the news couldn't have came at a more brutal time for the Belarusian-American mixed martial artist, as he had recently just gifted White a high-tech rifle.
Speaking on The Ariel Helwani Show, Arlovski said: "Maximus traditional build by Stellar Arms here. Dana promised to post, so I'm waiting for a post from himself."
Arlovski went on to explain that the limited-edition rifle, named after his Pitbull, Maximus, was one of only 150 that was being created, and that he wanted to be the first person to present White with such an exclusive firearm.

During his UFC career, the heavyweight fighter faced off against some of the sport's biggest names, including current interim champion Tom Aspinall and Stipe Miocic, a man many consider to be the greatest heavyweight of all time.
In total, Arlovski had an incredible 42 fights in the UFC, with a record of 23 wins, 18 losses and one no contest.
