Dana White brutally claimed out his UFC's last main event as he announced a series of blockbuster headline bouts for the promotion.

White recently confirmed six fights for the stacked UFC White House card to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the United States.

The landmark event, which will feature 5,000 spectators on the South Lawn, will be headlined by Ilia Topuria defending his UFC lightweight title against interim champion Justin Gaethje.

But after cutting five fighters from the roster, White and UFC have proceed to announce a further five main events to reveal the entire schedule leading up to the mammoth 'UFC: Freedom 250' spectacle on June 14.

The slew of announcements were made in UFC's studio in the Meta Apex in Las Vegas alongside host Brendan Fitzgerald and UFC Hall of Famer Michael Bisping.

In discussing the co-main event between Alex Pereira and Ciryl Gane for the interim heavyweight championship in June, Bisping said he could "guarantee it would be a ridiculous fight".

However White interjected and admitted he was disappointed with the BMF title main event at UFC 326 between Charles Oliveira and Max Holloway, which didn't live up to his expectations.

Oliveira avenged his loss in a decision victory after the fight went the distance.

Commenting on the bout, White said: "I used to always have a guarantee that there were certain fights you saw that you're like 'It's impossible for this not to be good'... And then the BMF title happened last week."

Dana White announces five new main events

The 56-year-old will be hoping that the next batch of main events in the UFC schedule will deliver.

To start with, UFC have booked former bantamweight champion Aljamain Sterling vs Youssef Zalal as the new main event for UFC Vegas 116 on April 25,

And it was then announced that UFC 328 on May 9 will be headlined by an explosive encounter between Khamzat Chimaev and Sean Strickland for the middleweight championship.

That will go down in Newark, New Jersey, with White calling it "the fight people have been waiting for, for a long time".

Elsewhere on the card, Alexander Volkov does battle with Waldo Cortes-Acosta and there will be a rematch between Jan Blachowicz and Bogdan Guskov.

The UFC chief also announced Arnold Allen vs Melquizael Costa in Las Vegas the following week as well a huge bout between Song Yadong and Deiveson Figueiredo in Macau on May 30.

Completing the set of main events is former welterweight champion Belal Muhammad's return to acton against Gabriel Bonfim at the Apex on June 6.
