Dana White ruthlessly cuts five fighters from roster just days after UFC 326

Five fighters have been released from the UFC roster just days after UFC 326.

Charles Oliveira dominated Max Holloway to win the BMF title in the main-event of UFC 326 last Saturday.

Elsewhere on the card, Caio Borralho outpointed Reinier de Ridder and Raul Rosas Jr. beat Rob Font by decision, while Drew Dober and Gregory Rodrigues scored big wins on the main-card.

The numbered event followed UFC Mexico, where Lone'er Kavanagh produced a stunning performance to beat Brandon Moreno.

In Mexico, Erik Silva and Kris Moutinho both lost their respective bouts and that has spelled the end of their UFC stints.

Silva lost three UFC fights in a row after coming through Dana White's Contender Seres, including a submission defeat to Francis Marshall at UFC Mexico.

Moutinho lost back-to-back fights in his second UFC spell, having made his Octagon debut in a short-notice fight against Sean O'Malley in July 2021.

Phil Rowe, Gavin Tucker and AJ Cunningham have also been cut from the promotion.

Rowe also earned his spot after winning a fight on Dana White's Contender Series and went onto have nine UFC fights.

He went on a three-fight win streak between 2021 and 2022 but leaves the UFC after losing back-to-back fights.

Tucker had seven fights in the UFC, including high-profile bouts against Dan Ige and Diego Lopes.

He hasn't fought since August 2023 when he suffered a submission defeat to Lopes.

AJ Cunningham is also no longer with the UFC after going 0-2 inside the famed Octagon.

He lost to Ludovit Klein on his promotional debut before losing to You Su-young.

So, Silva, Moutinho, Rowe, Tucker and Cunningham are the latest fighters to lose their spot in the roster and with the slate of UFC shows coming up, expect more cuts in the near future.
