UFC fans furious after seeing Dana White's latest update amid Conor McGregor vs Michael Chandler uncertainty

UFC fans have expressed their discontent after seeing Dana White’s latest update amid the uncertainties surrounding Conor McGregor’s fight against Michael Chandler.

Irishman McGregor, who has been away from the sport since losing to Dustin Poirier back in July 2021, is set to make a sensational return against Chandler on June 29.

McGregor vs Chandler is set to be the main event of UFC 303, which is scheduled to take place in Las Vegas, Nevada.

However, the fight has now been plunged into darkness after a pre-fight press conference was cancelled earlier in the week.

A statement from UFC read: “Dear UFC Fans-- The #UFC303 press conference scheduled for Monday June 3rd in Dublin, Ireland at 3Arena has been postponed until further notice.

“We sincerely apologise to all the fans who were planning to attend. When we have further information on a new date and time, we will share it immediately. - Thank you.”

On Tuesday, White took to social media to announce that UFC is set to return to Denver next month.

He said: “What’s up everybody we are heading back to Denver for the first time since 2018. July 13th from the Ball Arena, Denver, Colorado. The main event, is Maycee Barber vs Rose Namajunas.”

White went on to confirm that Gilbert Urbina will take on Mike Malott, Santiago Ponzinibbio will fight Muslim Salikhov and Gabriel Bonfim will face Ange Loosa. You can watch the full video below.

Reacting on social media, fans were eager for White to provide an update on McGregor’s bout against Chandler.

One fan said: “We are all left in the dark about Conor McGregor and you’re announcing Ange Loosa fights.”

Another tweeted: “We don’t care about Denver. Give us news about 303.”

A third fan added: “Ah yes Gilbert Urbina news is what everybody has been talking about today.”

Someone else wrote: “You know damn well what we actually want to know, Dana. Give us the McGregor update on 303.”

A fifth commented: “Don’t change the subject Dana, UFC 303 info, now.”

Another fan said: “Respectfully this is not what fans what to know about right now.”
