Dana White launches savage attack on UFC fighter for 'unbelievable' thing he's done ahead of UFC 306

Dana White has launched a brutal attack against one of his UFC fighters over the 'unbelievable' thing he's done ahead of UFC 306.

With UFC 305 in the books, UFC fans are looking ahead to UFC 306, which will take place at the Sphere in Paradise, Nevada, next month.

The event - billed by UFC as the 'greatest live sporting event of all-time' - will be headlined by a bantamweight bout between Sean O'Malley and Merab Dvalishvili.

The latter will have his work cut out, as O'Malley has won 18 of his 19 UFC fights. However, he might not have done himself any favours by sharing a video on social media.

On Tuesday the Georgian fighter shared to Instagram a video of himself receiving treatment for a cut on his head.

The caption read: "Calm down - its all good- just a little training injury. Never pulled out of a fight - and Never will! I’m coming for you O’Malley - stronger than ever. Vamos!"

While Dvalishvili was looking to reassure his fans, UFC president Dana White was not happy with him for exposing a potential weakness to his opponent.

"The whole world knows about Merab's cut, he posted it. I mean, our guys are so dumb it's next level unbelievable," White said during a press conference on Tuesday.

"All the stuff that I talk about boxing - what i will give boxing, is that when something happens in a camp, I tell you what, it does not leak.

"But our guys can not f****** wait to throw it up on social media. It's a small cut, it's no big deal, but obviously it needed to be posted."

A reporter then said to White: "Against a guy like O'Malley who is a sharp-shooter and a very accurate puncher, now all of a sudden there's a big target for him."

White replied: "And why the f*** would you want him to know that? It is next level stupid. Some of these guys are so stupid it's... mind-boggling. It's unbelievable."
