Dana White has ruthlessly cut a fighter from the roster just days after making a major error at UFC 316.
At UFC 316, Merab Dvalishvili submitted Sean O'Malley to defend his UFC bantamweight championship, while Kayla Harrison dethroned Julianna Pena of the UFC women's bantamweight title.
Elsewhere on the main-card, Kevin Holland stopped Vicente Luque, Mario Bautista outpointed Patchy Mix and Joe Pyfer beat Kelvin Gastelum.
US president Donald Trump was in the audience in Newark, New Jersey, as his appearance is set to cost taxpayers a staggering amount.
Just days after UFC 316, one of the fighters competing on the card is no longer under contract.
According to Brazilian outlet Ag Fight, Ariane da Silva has been released from the UFC after her contract was not renewed.

The showdown was slated to be contested at the flyweight limit of 125lbs (126lbs for non-title bouts).
But Da Silva missed weight by a massive six pounds at the official UFC 316 weigh-in.
Despite her weigh-in mishap, the fight went ahead, with Cong, who successfully made weight, winning the contest on points.
Da Silva ends her association with the UFC, having made her promotional debut in 2019.
She lost her opening two fights to British stars Joanne Calderwood and Molly 'Meatball' McCann before winning two on the bounce. She then went 1-2 in her next three matches before moving up in weight, where she lost to Priscila Cachoeira.
But 'The Queen of Violence' returned to the flyweight division and won three consecutive fights, including a big victory over Casey O'Neill that won her a 'Performance of the Night' bonus.
However, she departs the UFC, having lost her last three fights inside the famed Octagon.
