Three fighters have been removed from the UFC roster in another round of cuts, including two names who featured on this month's UFC Vegas 114 card.
On the evening of March 14, a featherweight bout between Josh Emmett and Kevin Vallejos headlined a 14-fight card that featured Montserrat Rendon and Luan Lacerda.
Rendon, who came up against Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu veteran Bia Mesquita, was defeated by a rear-naked choke submission in round one, while Lacerca lost to Hecher Sosa by unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 29-28).
Almost two weeks on from the event and both Rendon and Lacerca have been removed from the UFC roster, according to MMA Fighting.

Luan Lacerda releases emotional statement after UFC cut confirmed
"My cycle with UFC comes to an end," he wrote on Instagram.
"I realized a dream, I lived, and I fought with conviction in victory all the battles I did. I leave grateful, and I don't regret anything, because all I did and do is seek to hit, finish, knock out, hit, win, live the victory with my family, and deliver to the fans a warm fight, without entanglement, and full of emotions.
"I understood that doing your best is not enough sometimes, and also what we believe is right may not be right and contain mistakes, and after all, there is no right and wrong at the highest level. And not always the best and the most prepared win.
"Finally, all my real expectations and hopes to become a champion inside, aligned with my work ethics, with qualified teachers and professionals, discipline, ability, mistakes, right, adjustments and deep conviction to win will now be adjusted and improved for my next steps in my career and in my next home."
