A UFC fighter has asked Dana White to be CUT from the roster in a stunning turn of events.
The MMA leaders recently parted ways with four fighters including a shock name who won his last bout at UFC London earlier this year.
And the promotion have lost another combatant following a shock intervention.
Jeff Molina, who won all three of his contests inside the famed Octagon, has asked to be released from the UFC, which has been granted by White and fellow chief Hunter Campbell.
His UFC departure comes off the back of a major scandal.
Molina, 27, was banned by the Nevada State Athletic Commission (NSAC) following an illegal betting scandal.
He was suspended for three years for placing a significant bet on Darrick Minner's UFC bout.
Minner, gym teammate of Molina, was also banned by NSAC for not disclosing a 'serious injury' he received before his UFC clash against Shayilan Nuerdanbieke in November 2022.
The 35-year-old failed to disclose his knee injury on a pre-fight medical questionnaire and was quickly finished by Nuerdanbieke in round one of their UFC featherweight showdown.
The bout was flagged by US Integrity as being the subject of suspicious betting.
Speaking to Ariel Helwani, Molina opened up on the betting incident and his decision to walk away from the UFC.
"I have no bad blood with the UFC," he told Helwani.
"They changed my life. I'm actually forever grateful that I got to fight amongst the best. I was ranked at the time. But with the conversation, they pretty much said, 'We can't go forward with you under the circumstances after the hearing, and we wish you the best in your future', and if I asked for my release, they'd grant it. So I went ahead and did that."

But it appears his announcement was premature as BKFC, who are part owned by Conor McGregor, issued a statement following the fighter's comments.
On X, they wrote: "Yesterday’s announcement regarding Jeff Molina’s signing was premature. We respect the ABC’s current suspension and will honor their rules and suspensions."
The American made his way into the UFC following a victory on Dana White's Contender Series.
He then had three fights in the UFC, beating Aori Qileng, Daniel da Silva and Zhalgas Zhumagulov.
