Paddy Pimblett beats up internet troll in punishing sparring session, gave him £50

Paddy Pimblett beats up internet troll in punishing sparring session, gave him £50

Paddy Pimblett showed his respect to the troll after the sparring session.

UFC star Paddy Pimblett has become the latest fighter to spar an internet troll, toying with his opponent in a punishing session.

Pimblett has shot to fame in the UFC since making his Octagon debut in September 2021.

He's registered four straight wins in the premier MMA organisation, most recently beating Jared Gordon in a controversial result at UFC 282.

Despite Pimblett's popularity, he's attracted some haters with his brash persona. But he's not one to shy away from the abuse on social media.

In fact, he called out one of his internet trolls, who obliged and turned up to his gym in Liverpool. Needless to say, he took a beating from the budding UFC lightweight contender.

The troll initially shocked people at the gym as he opened the sparring session with some extravagant kicks.

But Pimblett returned fire with his own kicks and steadily put on a beatdown.

'The Baddy' continued to punish the troll, who appeared to pick up an injury, with the MMA fighter's coach eventually calling off the session.

Pimblett and the troll embraced after the spar. The Liverpool fighter credited his modest opponent for travelling up to his gym and taking a beating.

He had promised him £500 if he survived the session, but despite failing to last, Pimblett handed him £50 for his troubles.

Pimblett earned his 20th victory of his MMA career earlier this month and has been relentlessly called out ahead of his next showdown.

He could return to action next March for UFC 286, when the promotion returns to London's O2 Arena.

Pimblett has fought in England's capital twice under the UFC banner, beating Rodrigo Vargas and Jordan Leavitt.
