Charlie Sheen has revealed what Joe Rogan did after learning of Charlie Kirk's death.
Kirk was shot dead earlier this month while speaking at a campus rally at Utah Valley University. The 31-year-old founded the right-wing student group Turning Point USA, through which he built a reputation as a vocal conservative activist.
He travelled across the United States debating political issues, often drawing large crowds. But Kirk was fatally shot through the neck at the event in Utah, and was pronounced dead later that day in hospital.
Tyler Robinson, 22, has since been charged with Kirk's murder, with prosecutors confirming that they will be seeking the death penalty. The shooting has sent shock waves through America, with tributes pouring in from across the country.

Popular podcaster Rogan was approximately two-and-a-half hours through recording an episode of The Joe Rogan Experience with the American actor Sheen when the pair were told about the shooting.
Sheen has now spoken publicly about what happened in that moment.
Speaking on the IMPAULSIVE YouTube channel, he explained that they had paused filming when news of the shooting reached them. He added: "We go out into the lobby and one of his security guards says he just died.

"So we make it to the bathroom and in the bathroom Joe says: 'we need to go back on the air and talk about this'. And I said: 'yes we do', and so we did."
Sheen then took a moment to reflect on the difficult emotions he felt in that moment.

"It's just awful, I don't remember what I said to Joe," he added.

"Something about if this is where we've wound up, this can't be where we stay. Like what words can we all attach to this that make it feel better for us or his family or just the moment, they haven't been written have they."
Kirk's death has also prompted tributes from political leaders. President Donald Trump, who was a close ally of Kirk, announced that he will award him the Presidential Medal of Freedom.
Trump joined several prominent MAGA figures at a memorial service held in Arizona, during which he praised Kirk as a 'giant of his generation'.
Kirk's widow Erika also addressed the crowd, delivering an emotional tribute to her late husband.

Kirk said that she had 'forgiven' the man accused of killing her husband as she wiped away in tears.
She added: “My husband, he wanted to save young men, just like the one who took his life.
“That man, that young man, I forgive him. I forgive him because it was what Christ did and it is what Charlie would do."
