A golfer who was disqualified for scoring his card wrong at US President Donald Trump's invitational tournament has been hit with another punishment after fan footage emerged.
The Nexo Championship took place earlier this month at Trump International Golf Links in Scotland, which was won by Grant Forrest as he ended a four-year wait for his second DP World Tour title.
President Trump is a keen golf fan and not only plays the sport but owns multiple courses across the world, including in Scotland.
This year's tournament saw two players disqualified for various reasons as the pair who had been tipped for success had their hopes ended before the second round ended.

One of players in question who was disqualified was Englishman Sam Bairstow, who had been one of the favourites to win the tournament.
But disaster struck when he made a grave error on his scorecard at the end of his opening round.
He marked down a five on the par-4 14th hole despite actually shooting a seven. He missed the fairway with his tee and hit a provisional ball, and after tapping in his bogey, he seemingly forgot his penalty stroke and carded the five which was not picked up by his playing partners either.

In actual fact, he had made a triple bogey - and for signing a lower score than he'd carded, Bairstow was ultimately disqualified from the tournament.

Now it has emerged that Bairstow has been slapped with another punishment after fan footage has shown another rule break at the tournament which has now led to a fine being issued.
According to a report by the Daily Telegraph, footage from a fan shows Bairstow attempting to play the ball on the 14th hole.

But the ball moves as Bairstow attempted to play his shot and the player should have replaced the ball to its original spot, under the sport's rules.
However, Bairstow did not do this and he played on from the ball's fresh spot and made what he believed was a bogey 5.
The Telegraph states that the video of Bairstow was shared by the fan who shot it with DP World Tour officials, who later questioned the player over the incident.
It is reported that Bairstow initially denied doing anything wrong, but was then shown the footage which he did not dispute and he was later disqualified.

The video was subsequently circulated amongst players and caddies who were angry with Bairstow's actions, which led to a hearing by the DP World Tour and ultimately has seen the player fined £25,000.
