Donald Trump addressed a rumour about his son Barron in regards to his stint at New York University's Stern School of Business.
The 19-year-old, Trump's youngest and only child with wife Melania, moved to NYU's campus in Washington, D.C. a small distance from the White House where his President father resides.
Since his father's inauguration in 2025, Barron has barely been seen in public and has instead been concentrating on his studies.
However, there have been reports claiming that Trump Jr's transition has not been a smooth one.

Kaya Walker, the former president of NYU College Republicans, made a revelation about his lack of socialising when he described Barron as an "oddity" who “goes to class” and then “goes home" Vanity Fair.
In a similar vein, a report from the Daily Mail said that Barron, who is 6ft 7, has been called “weird” and “awkward” by classmates.
It was also claimed others said he "doesn’t talk" - while he was also "slandered on one of the hottest new college dating apps".

However, Trump spoke about how his son is getting on during a viral golf video with his grandaughter Kai.
The video, titled 'Playing Golf with President Donald Trump (My Grandpa)', amassed 1.5 million views since it was posted on Saturday.
Kai, Trump's eldest grandchild, wondered about her relative, asking her grandad, "How's Barron doing at NYU?”.
Trump replied, “Good, he's doing good. 'He's a good boy. He loves you.

“He said, ‘Say hello to Kai, dad’. I said, ‘Why don't you come out and watch [the round of golf]?’ He said - he's so cute.”
Barron's sporting prowess has been praised in the past by his father in the past, calling him "a very good athlete" and "a good soccer player" despite being "on the tall side".
He spent time in D.C United's academy and graduated from Oxbridge Academy in May 2024.

Trump has credited Barron with giving him useful advice and assistance when it comes to the successful second presidential election campaign because of the increase in Republican votes in young men.
According to Trump, he was also the person responsible for suggesting he appear on Joe Rogan's podcast - sitting down for a lengthy in-studio chat as part of the campaign.
