Golf star Bryson Dechambeau revealed all about playing with Donald Trump amid claims that the president is a prolific cheater.

The owner of 16 different courses, Trump plays golf whenever he can and his exploits on the green are set to cost US taxpayers an astronomical amount.

But while he is an experienced player, the 78-year-old has regularly been accused of cheating at golf - with the likes of Samuel. L. Jackson and Oscar De La Hoya telling stories of their experiences playing with him.

Meanwhile, Rick Reilly, a former Sports Illustrated columnist, wrote a book called 'Commander in Cheat: How Golf Explains Trump' and said that he "will do anything to cheat".

There also a tale where a caddy reportedly admitted to seeing Trump move a ball into the bunker, though he has always denied claims and said," I don't drop balls, I don't move balls - I don't need to."

Trump has played with a whole host of celebrities and professional players over the years, including two-time major winner Dechambeau.

The 31-year-old, who made the move to LIV Golf in June 2022, first met Trump in 2017 and played him him at his Trump National course in Doral, Miami back in the summer.

Inspired by MrBeast, Dechambeau launched YouTube channel in 2020 and now boasts 1.83 million subscribers - more than the PGA's page.

Guests for the popular series called 'Break 50', where the objective is to shoot sub-50, include Tom Brady and Tony Romo but he also filmed with Trump for a 55 minute episode which racked up 14 million views.

And in an interview with 'Fox and Friends', Dechambeau had nothing but positive things to say about playing with Trump.

"It was a crazy day when we played out at Bedminster," he said.

"We came up with the idea to go from the front tees, do a scramble and try to break 50.

"We bring people on to see if we can do the near impossible.

"As we developed our relationship we played a bunch of golf together. He loves golf by the way, he's such a great ambassador for the game of golf.

"It's been fun to play with him and get to know him a bit better and just recognise that he's a normal person."

Dechambeau first played a round with Trump in 2017 and later linked up again while playing with his son Eric and Dustin Johnson in a pro-am round at the 2022 LIV Golf Bedminster event.

Having gifted Trump some clubs many years back, Dechambeau was invited on stage during Trump's presidential election victory at the Palm Beach County Convention Center.
