Journalist who played golf with Donald Trump reveals 'deceptive' thing he did on course amid 'cheating' allegations

A journalist who played golf with Donald Trump has revealed the 'deceptive' thing he did on the course amid claims he cheats when he plays.

Trump is a big golfer and owns a number of golf courses across America, having acquired and constructed them over the years.

The 45th and 47th US president has played golf with plenty of celebrities and professional players, including Tiger Woods who was left shocked about one aspect of the 78-year-old's game.

Not to mention Hollywood star Samuel L. Jackson, who accused him of cheating when they played together.

Jackson received a whopping bill following his accusation.

Trump also played a round of golf with journalist Kevin Brown, who provided a detailed account of his experience with him on the course.

According to Brown, Trump 'plays it hard and fast' - and 'loves' golf with a 'burning passion'.

Brown, who is the former Courses and Travel Editor of Today's Golfer, also noted that the politician 'hates losing with a passion'.

He also commented on his long ball striking, calling it 'deceptively' good'. Per their round, Trump doesn't hang about, too.

Brown wrote: "It soon became apparent that Trump doesn’t take any nonsense on course. He is a steady single-digit player who hits a solid deceptively long ball... and he plays quickly, very quickly. So fast in fact I spent most of the time chasing him down the fairways to get his thoughts about his exciting new projects and the game in general.

"The Donald doesn’t hang about on the course. He’s the fastest player I’ve ever played with. Hit-move, hit-move, hit-move… he’s relentless. I must admit I was puffing and panting to keep up with him and wasn’t in the least surprised when Trump revealed one of his pet golfing hates... is slow play. No way. I would never have believed it."
