Lando Norris complained about Lewis Hamilton over team radio before the Ferrari driver was placed under investigation by the stewards at the British Grand Prix.
The race ended in chaos at Silverstone after Max Verstappen span out on lap 48, bringing out a safety car.
Ferrari decided to pit both race leader Charles Leclerc and Hamilton, anticipating a late-race restart which would have given them the opportunity to race.
The pit stop, though, meant that Hamilton sacrificed track position to George Russell.

And although the FIA decided to bring the safety car in on lap 52 for what would have been a one-lap shootout, they then re-deployed the safety car in the third and final sector.
That meant that Leclerc, who was around 25 seconds ahead when the safety car came out, was able to cross the line without pressure, with Russell coming home in second and Hamilton in third.
But there is the threat of a possible penalty over Hamilton's finishing position.
The seven-time world champion received a five-second penalty for a jump start at the beginning of the Grand Prix, but was subsequently placed under investigation over a potential yellow flag infringement following Verstappen's incident.
Russell was placed under investigation over a similar potential infringement after Verstappen crashed out of qualifying in Austria, but was cleared after he was deemed to have slowed down sufficiently for a single yellow flag near the site of the accident.
Norris' team radio message over Hamilton incident
The nature of Hamilton's investigation, though, is different - as revealed by Norris over team radio.
Sky Sports F1 commentator David Croft noted how Norris, who finished in fourth place, told his race engineer Will Joseph: "Lewis is overtaking everyone. Overtaking everyone."
Norris was just behind Hamilton at that time, and also pitted to drop down to fourth from third. It is not clear as to who Hamilton is alleged to have overtaken or whether he did indeed commit any offence.
The stewards will now investigate and decide whether a sanction is necessary.
Hamilton and a Ferrari team representative have been summoned to the stewards' office and will make an appearance at 5pm, with a judgment expected to be announced shortly afterwards.
A penalty would drop him down the order and out of the points-scoring positions, with Mercedes' Kimi Antonelli also out of the points after he suffered a mechanical issue relating to his rear wing late in the race.
