Adama Traore raced a group of young Wolves fans after they challenged him to sprint.

The Wolves speedster was out and about wearing his club attire when some young supporters approached him.

He happily posed for a picture with the youngsters but it got even better for the kids when Traore agreed to race them.

The Spain international is one of the fastest players in the world and has destroyed many full-backs with his lightning quick darts down the right flank.

There was no track nearby and so the big race happened in the car park of a Sainsbury's.

Although he took it easy and didn't go full pelt, Traore demonstrated his pace to burn by beating the two young lads by a considerable distance.

Darryl Smith, dad to one of the boys, took to Twitter to share the video, which now has over 300,000 views.

He wrote: "When my lad & his cousins challenge Adama to a race !! What a down to earth top man!"

And fans absolutely loved Traore giving up some of his to share a special moment with the lads:

Traore really went out of his way and you just know the boys will be telling all their mates about it at school.

Wolves will be relieved he didn't pull a hamstring given they've got a trip to Brentford at 3pm on Saturday.

The 26-year-old returned to Barcelona on loan in the middle of last season but found himself back at Molineux in the summer after the Blaugrana declined against signing him permanently.

In 2021/22, Traore recorded an insane top speed of 36.6 km/h, with Chelsea's Antonio Rudiger the only player quicker than him.
