Shocking Video Appears To Show Child Being Pepper Sprayed By French Police

The Champions League final has been delayed as a result of the chaos outside the stadium.

A shocking video of a child supposedly being pepper sprayed by French police has emerged online amid the chaos surrounding the Champions League final.

The showpiece event between Liverpool and Real Madrid was delayed by 36 minutes due to security reasons outside the Stade de France.

Ticketless fans stormed the stadium as they ran past stewards to gain entry.

French police reacted by employing pepper spray, with footage appearing to a show a child being effected.

The clip shows a child reduced to tears as a result of the French police's tactics.

Another video shows Liverpool fans being hit by pepper spray as they gathered outside the ground.

Joel Matip's brother, Marvin, provided a worrying account of the situation outside the Stade de France.

He said: "The organisation around and in the stadium is unworthy of a CL final! Using tear gas in areas with children and uninvolved fans is dangerous!"

Liverpool fans who had tickets spoke to Sky Sports about the situation, describing UEFA's organisation as 'shambolic'.
