A shocking video of a child supposedly being pepper sprayed by French police has emerged online amid the chaos surrounding the Champions League final.

French police reacted by employing pepper spray, with footage appearing to a show a child being effected.

The clip shows a child reduced to tears as a result of the French police's tactics.

Another video shows Liverpool fans being hit by pepper spray as they gathered outside the ground.

Joel Matip's brother, Marvin, provided a worrying account of the situation outside the Stade de France.

He said: "The organisation around and in the stadium is unworthy of a CL final! Using tear gas in areas with children and uninvolved fans is dangerous!"

Liverpool fans who had tickets spoke to Sky Sports about the situation, describing UEFA's organisation as 'shambolic'.
