Real Madrid Set To Offer Player As Part Of Gianluigi Donnarumma Deal
It's been quite the week for players telling their club they want to leave out of the blue. Cristiano Ronaldo caught us by surprise yesterday but on Thursday it was Gianluigi Donnarumma. Real Madrid are willing to offer one of their first team for the keeper.
Donnarumma is one of the most talked about goalkeepers in world football. It's no surprise considering he made his AC Milan debut at just 16 and has been their first choice keeper ever since.
Under the pressure of being Milan's great hope as a teenager and being named Gianluigi Buffon's heir apparent since day one the teenager has just been brilliant throughout.

But with his contract running down at the end of next season the Italian and his club shocked fans on Thursday when they announced that he wouldn't be renewing and thus available on a free transfer in the summer of 2018.
This of course pricked the ears of Real Madrid who are always interested in signing the biggest names and best players and, according to Italian website Sportmediaset, Real are willing to offer Keylor Navas as a part of any deal in a keeper for keeper swap.

It's not confirmed yet whether or not the Rossoneri are actually thinking about selling Donnarumma with some reports suggesting they'll leave him on the bench for a year and let him leave on a free next season with his stock lowered.
However that seems like a silly stance to take as even with just one year left on his deal they could likely make around £30 million for him and with Navas as part of a deal they'd have a ready made replacement.

This isn't the first time that the Costa Rica number one has been offered as part of a deal for a replacement goalkeeper with Los Blancos goalie reportedly in the airport ready to leave for Manchester when the David de Gea deal was pulled.
Real could come under competition for the Italian from PSG and possibly Juventus as a Buffon replacement should Milan decide not to sell this year.
Should Zidane sign Donnarumma then that would be the end of speculation of David de Gea moving to the Bernabeu.
