Manchester United may be close to concluding a piece of business they originally tried to secure in 2012.
Five years ago, a 'delegation' of United officials visited Sao Paulo in order to sign a promising teenage winger by the name of Lucas Moura.
Unfortunately for Sir Alex Ferguson, Paris Saint-Germain pipped United to the post in securing the Brazilian's signature and Moura has spent the last few years comfortably winning Ligue Un titles with PSG (apart from this season, of course).

Moura isn't actually Jose Mourinho's first choice in terms of transfer targets, but with the Portuguese coach's desire for a new right-winger coming to a dead end with his pursuit of Chelsea's Willian, the United boss sees the PSG man as an ideal alternative.

This season has been a prolific nine months for Moura, who helped himself to 19 goals and six assists, although whether or not he can transfer that form to the Premier League if a move to Old Trafford materialises is another matter altogether.
Moura arrived in the French capital for a fee of 40 million euros and Sao Paulo would receive a percentage of any potential fee the former French champions would be paid by United for the 24-year-old's services.

The news comes shortly after media outlets in Italy reported that United have agreed a £35 million deal with Internazionale for Croatian attacker Ivan Perisic.
