If reports in Italy are to be believed, Manchester United are, much like their city rivals, wasting no time in recruiting new signings for next season.
News has been breaking in the past hour that a deal has been sanctioned to take Internazionale's Croatian international Ivan Perisic to Old Trafford in a deal worth a reported £35 million.
The 28-year-old was linked with a move to United back in March, when Jose Mourinho was spotted in Zagreb ahead of Croatia's 1-0 victory over Ukraine.
The United boss downplayed his trip as nothing more than a way to escape the Manchester drizzle but with the reports emanating from the Italian press today, it would seem as though business was being discussed during the Portuguese manager's Croatian jaunt.

The left-sided winger has impressed during his two seasons at the San Siro, scoring 19 goals in 77 appearances since arriving from Wolfsburg in 2015.
At international level, Perisic has been similarly impressive, representing Croatia at last year's European Championships as well as the 2014 World Cup and Euro 2012. With 54 caps to his name, Perisic also has 16 goals for his country.

The news of Perisic's imminent arrival at Old Trafford would make sense, with Inter currently being heavily linked with a mega money move for Real Madrid's James Rodriguez. Selling the Croatian would free up space in the Nerazzurri's starting XI for the Colombian attacker.
United fans, what do you make of your potential new recruit? A shrewd bit of business by Mourinho or not what you need?
