The Riyad Mahrez transfer saga continues to rumble on.
He's been dominating the summer window following the rampant talks linking him with a move to Arsenal. The 26-year-old is reportedly on Arsene Wenger's transfer wishlist along with AS Monaco's Thomas Lemar.
Though the Gunners are not the only suitors. Fellow Premier League sides Chelsea and Spurs are believed to be also keeping tabs on him. Not to mention Serie A outfit AS Roma.

The Italians tabled an offer for Mahrez earlier in the month. But the £20 million bid was rejected. AS Roma have now submitted a second deal which has also been turned down.
Reports via Goal suggest the improved £32 million bid has been rejected by Leicester City. The club are holding out for a whopping £50 million with AS Roma reluctant to dig that deep into their pockets.

Following the bids, Craig Shakespeare spoke about his player who claims he's remained very professional.
"Riyad is our player until I am told otherwise from the board that a bid has been accepted," he said via Goal.
"He is turning up for training, has been very professional, got about his business and you see that from his performances."

"Riyad was honest enough to come out at the beginning and say he would like to move to a top six club. He was putting out offers for that."
"We are aware of the situation and until we get an offer that is suitable, he stays with us," Shakespeare added.
