Totti Could Be On His Way To The Premier League

Please! We don't ask for much

We can pretty much give up on Ronaldinho coming to the Premier League and we knew long ago Messi wasn't a possibility. So please let the footballing gods bring a footballing god to the Premier League in the shape of Francesco Totti.

The legendary Roma forward is currently unhappy at the Olimpico with new manager Luciano Spalletti not giving the player much playing time at all. On the weekend Totti was dropped from the squad altogether after he publicly said he wasn't happy with being not playing.

And with the 39 year old's contract up at the end of the season you might have thought he would retire but according to Gazetto dello Sport say that Leicester manager Claudio Ranieri wants to bring the forward to the King Power Stadium next season.

Of course the former Roma boss worked with Totti between 2009 and 2011 and adding the Italian to his team would be great for Champions League experience next season.

Leicester would likely face competition from Qatar, China and America for the signature of 'The Golden Boy' whilst clubs in Italy might also fancy signing the current one club man however he might find it hard to play in Italy for a club that isn't Roma.

We just really want to see Totti play in the Premier League, even if he's not the same player he once was.
