Liverpool fans are only just realising a hidden aspect of their Premier League title race that could be disastrous.

Jurgen Klopp is hoping to go out with a bang as he prepares to leave Anfield at the end of the 23/24 season.

Since the announcement was made in January, Liverpool went on to win the Carabao Cup in February as they chase four trophies.

However, their quadruple dream is fast turning into a nightmare after they were dumped out of the FA Cup by Manchester United in March.

In Europe, they face an almost impossible task after a dismal 3-0 defeat by Atalanta in the first league of their Europa League quarter-final tie.

Liverpool have also lost ground in the race for the Premier League after recent matches against United and Crystal Palace, they now find themselves two points adrift of leaders Manchester City.

With Liverpool’s season at risk of falling apart, their fans have realised that the last few months of the campaign are being filmed for a documentary series.

Reacting on social media, one fan said: “I ain’t watching one episode of that documentary.”

Another tweeted: “Scrap that documentary.”

A third fan added: “This Liverpool documentary is going straight into the horror category fairs.”

Someone else wrote: “I was wondering how much the cameras were affecting things.”

A fifth commented: “Scrap it. I ain’t gonna watch that and be reminded of all the pain.”

Speaking about the upcoming documentary back in January, Klopp said: “With this being my final season I thought we should provide a rare opportunity for viewers to have more of an inside look at what makes this club so special: its people, from our fans to our players and those who work so hard behind the scenes, constantly in pursuit of success for Liverpool Football Club.

“Thanks to this new documentary series, viewers will be able to see what I see every day at this great club, and understand those amazing people more.”
