These days, every minute detail of a footballer's behaviour is analysed to the nth degree when it concerns potential transfer activity.

So it should come as no surprise that tabloid tongues are wagging over the revelation of a Real Madrid star's fiancee being seen house hunting in London, this week.

Alice Campbell, who is engaged to Alvaro Morata, has reportedly bought a house in the capital, according to Spanish outlet Diario Gol.

The intention, it would appear, is for Campbell to boost her modelling career, but Diario also believe there is more football related matters at play.

Morata has been a long term target of Chelsea's, and revealed in a recent interview that he held talks with both Antonio Conte and Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino last Summer over a potential move to the Premier League.

The Spanish striker has struggled to usurp French teammate Karim Benzema from the first choice starting berth in Zinedine Zidane's 'Los Blancos' XI and has continuously been linked with a move away from the Bernabeu in recent months.

Campbell's recent property buying activity has only intensified those rumours, even further.

Morata proposed to Campbell, originally from Venice, in December of last year, during a magic show at the Rialto Theatre.

In a recent interview with The Guardian, Morata said of his relationship with Campbell:

"I was lucky: I met Alice and my life changed. We're going to get married.

"Thanks to her - you never know what might have happened had she not come along - and to me too, I got back on track, felt important, scored goals. Now I'm better prepared to play at the highest level. I feel that more with every passing day."

The Spain international has stated he is no longer happy to be confined to a 'super sub' role, which could lead to Chelsea and Spurs revisiting their interest in the former Juventus man, especially given that both teams could do with another striker and there's not many better options available than a player with Morata's impressive track record.
