BREAKING: Manchester City Complete Seventh Summer Signing

How will City fans feel?

Pep Guardiola kicked off his Manchester City career with a win on Saturday evening but the main headline from the match was his decision to drop goalkeeper Joe Hart from the starting line-up and the latest signing will see that Hart's absence is a more permanent arrangement.

It's not exactly been a great summer for Hart. Some dreadful mistakes for England in the Euros and the arrival of a manager who likes his keeper to play the ball out of defence, rather than punt it clear, at City has seen real questions raised about his position as number one at both club and international level for the first time.

Big Willy Caballero started the Sunderland match ahead of Hart with rumours persisting that the Head and Shoulders model would be off to Everton before the end of the window and according to Spanish paper Sport he'll be replaced by incoming Barcelona goalkeeper Claudio Bravo.

Earlier in the transfer window the two time Premier League champions were linked to younger Barca keeper Marc-André ter Stegen but it seems that Ter Stegen has won the battle to be Barcelona's number one this season ahead of Bravo and that will see the Chilean leave for Manchester.

The 33 year old was his country's hero as they won the Copa America final on a penalty shootout against Argentina and doesn't need to be a long term fix for City as they've already signed Gerónimo Rulli and sent him back on loan to Real Sociedad for this season.

Time at the Etihad is up for Hart. What next for him?
