If Arsenal do want former Barcelona manager Luis Enrique to take over from Arsene Wenger at the end of the season then they will have to make the Spaniard one of the best paid managers in England.
It still seems quite surreal that Arsene Wenger won't be in the dugout at the Emirates on the first day of the next Premier League season, and not just because Arsenal could start their campaign away from home.
The announcement on Friday that the Frenchman will be leaving at the end of this season, after 22 years in charge, took everyone by surprise- most of all me as I was on the Underground and just trying to get wifi at stops in order to be able to find the news.

Now Arsenal need to find who the right man is to take the club forward and stop the fans going full circle and changing the campaign to #WengerIn after years of hounding him out.
Former Barcelona boss Luis Enrique is one of the favourites for the job but, according to the Mirror, his wages could be a stumbling block. The former midfielder would reportedly ask for £15 million a year wages, putting him behind only Pep Guardiola in the Premier League managerial wages charts.
The Manchestester City boss earns a reported £15.3 million a year, although City are close to handing him a new deal worth £20 million a year, whilst Jose Mourinho earns the same £15 million that Enrique will reportedly ask for.

Arsene Wenger is also currently third on the list although his wages of £8.9 million put him way below what former Champions League winning manager Enrique would want to end his year without managing after leaving Barca last season.
There's no guarantee that the 47 year old will be the first Gunners boss after Wenger with Leonardo Jardim, Brendan Rodgers, Joachim Low, Patrick Vieira and Mikel Arteta also linked with the vacancy.
Wenger will still be looking to leave his time in England on a high with a Europa League win, first his side must get past Atletico Madrid over two legs, starting on Thursday.

It certainly will be weird to see Arsenal being managed by someone who isn't Arsene Wenger.
