The transfer saga involving Viktor Gyokeres has taken a new twist after an interested team decided to put eight players on sale in a bid to fund a big-money move.
Gyokeres, 27, has been linked with some of Europe's biggest clubs, including the likes of Arsenal, Manchester United, Liverpool and Barcelona.
In the 24/25 season, Gyokeres was in fine form as he managed 54 goals and 13 assists across all competitions for Sporting Clube de Portugal.

Last week, it was claimed that Arsenal became the first club to submit an official bid for Gyokeres, worth €60 million including add-ons.
It also emerged that Italian Serie A giants Juventus have registered their interest in Gyokeres and they are reportedly looking to sell eight players to raise funds.
As reported by Italian news outlet Corriere dello Sport, the likes of Dusan Vlahovic, Douglas Luiz, Lloyd Kelly, Samuel Mbangula, Arkadiusz Milik, Mattia Perin, Daniele Rugani and Filip Kostic could all be offloaded.

It has been claimed that Juventus will look to bring in at least €80 million, which can then be used to lure Gyokeres to Turin.
However, the Italian giants are set to face tough competition from the Premier League as Gyokeres has reportedly decided on his next move.
Taking to social media, transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano stated that Gyokeres' priority is to join Arsenal.
He wrote on X: "Viktor Gyökeres’ priority is to join Arsenal this summer despite calls from Manchester United in the recent weeks. Gyökeres always an option amid Šeško talks with no deal sealed so far, Arsenal keep assessing situation.

"United remain keen but believe deal now unlikely."

Romano has previously stated that there is a 'tense situation' between Sporting and Gyokeres.
He wrote on social media: "Tense situation between Viktor Gyökeres and Sporting. Despite previous pact for exit worth fee around €65m w/add-ons, Sporting president insists on higher fee.

"Price still under €100m clause but not €65m now. Gyökeres, described as furious."
