Real Madrid are willing to pay a 'record' amount to sign a Manchester United star as the club's transfer plans have emerged in a new report.
Real signed Trent Alexander-Arnold, Dean Huijsen, Alvaro Carreras and Franco Mastantuono during the summer transfer window.
They spent around £150 million on their new signings but have further recruitments in mind.
Xabi Alonso is still on the hunt for a new midfielder and club president Florentino Perez is 'willing' to sanction a transfer.

That's according to Spanish outlet E-Noticies who claim Real are eyeing a move for Kobbie Mainoo, with chief scout Juni Calafat planning to keep tabs on him in the coming months.
Per the report, Real are prepared to pay £78.5 million to lure Mainoo away from Old Trafford.
A fee in the region of £70-80 million would represent as a record academy graduate sale for Man United, with Alejandro Garnacho the current record at £40 million following his transfer to Chelsea.

Real, however, face stiff competition to sign Mainoo as Premier League duo Chelsea and Tottenham are also monitoring the 20-year-old's developments at Man United.
His future at Man United has been clouded by uncertainty after a frustrating summer and start to the new season.
Mainoo has played just two league games this campaign and has yet to start in the league.
He wanted a move away from the club during the summer, but a switch failed to materialise.

What has Ruben Amorim said about not playing Kobbie Mainoo?
Mainoo's start in his side's shock Carabao Cup defeat to Grimsby Town is the only game he has played from the start this season.
In the league, he has made two substitute appearances but Amorim insists he 'believes' in him a lot.

Speaking before Man United's crushing defeat to Manchester City last weekend, Ruben Amorim explained: "Like a lot of guys, he wants to play more.
"I believe a lot in Kobbie but some of you think that Kobbie Mainoo is already done. I think he can do so much better. He can improve in a lot.
"And sometimes I think for some guys it’s [the level he’s playing at now] enough. For him, it’s not enough. Maybe it’s not fair, but I think I’m helping Kobbie Mainoo and that’s it."
Amorim added: "He will have opportunities like the other guys. If I feel during the week that he’s the best player to play, he’s going to play and I proved that already to every player here.

"I believe a lot in him. I have the same thing [opinion] that you have and that is a top, top player, but he can be so much better, so I’m focused on that."
