Real Madrid midfielder Eduardo Camavinga has reportedly reversed his stance on a potential summer exit after Liverpool made an approach to sign him.
The 23-year-old has been consistently linked with a move away from the Bernabeu, with fresh uncertainty surrounding his future following Jose Mourinho's return as Real Madrid head coach.
Last month, TEAMtalk reported that the France international had approved a summer transfer and was actively searching for a new club, with the Premier League understood to be his preferred destination. The report added that Camavinga could be available for around £50 million, attracting interest from several clubs.
Liverpool's interest intensified last week when reports emerged that the Reds had contacted Real Madrid to discuss a potential deal, with Camavinga initially open to leaving Spain. Manchester United have also been credited with an interest as they continue their midfield rebuild under Michael Carrick.

With speculation growing, a move to Anfield appeared increasingly likely. However, the latest reports suggest Camavinga has now had a change of heart and is determined to fight for his place at Real Madrid.
Camavinga changes transfer stance
According to Mundo Deportivo, although Liverpool remain interested, Camavinga no longer wants to leave the Spanish giants. The report claims the midfielder has informed his representatives not to entertain any offers, signalling his intention to stay and impress Mourinho.
Camavinga made 43 appearances across all competitions last season, although he endured a disappointing end to the campaign. After coming on as a substitute in Real Madrid's Champions League defeat to Bayern Munich, he was sent off in the closing stages after receiving two quick yellow cards as Madrid crashed out 6-4 on aggregate.
Naturally a central midfielder, Camavinga also featured at left-back and on the left wing during the season, underlining the versatility that has made him such a valuable member of the squad.
Despite his renewed commitment to Real Madrid, his future may not be entirely in his own hands. The report claims Mourinho will make the final decision on the midfielder's future and could be open to a sale if it helps fund a move for Chelsea's Enzo Fernandez.
Fernandez is reportedly Mourinho's dream midfield signing, with either Camavinga or Aurelien Tchouameni viewed as potential departures to finance a deal. As a result, while Camavinga is now eager to remain at the Bernabeu, Real Madrid's transfer plans could ultimately determine where he plays next season.
Camavinga could feature heavily for Mourinho in pre-season after he was not selected for the France squad at the 2026 World Cup. He was one of the most high-profile omissions from Didier Deschamps' squad for the tournament, having played in the World Cup final just four years ago. It is understood that international disappointment was one of the driving factors behind his initial plans to seek a transfer this summer.
