Marcus Rashford admits he would love to extend his stay at Barcelona as he approaches the end of his season-long loan deal.
The 28-year-old fulfilled a childhood dream when he moved to the Catalan club last summer and scored a stunning free-kick as they won the La Liga title with a 2-0 victory over Real Madrid at the weekend.
Manchester United agreed to loan Rashford to Barcelona when they offered to pay his wages in full and proposed a €30 million option to buy him permanently.
United have no intention to reintegrate the academy graduate back into their first-team squad and are confident they will be able to find a suitor in the summer transfer window, even if Barcelona don't trigger their option to buy him.

Rashford has netted 14 goals and notched 14 assists in his season at the Camp Nou, though there are doubts over whether his stay will be extended. SPORTbible understands Barcelona are reluctant to pay both his release clause and wage demands next season and could look to either lower the asking price or propose another loan deal this summer.
Speaking after the victory over Real Madrid on Sunday night, the English forward was quizzed on his immediate future at the La Liga club: "I don't know. I am not a magician, but if I was, I would stay. So we will see," he said in the mixed zone.
The United loanee made history when he became the first Englishman to win the Spanish top-flight title in 41 years, and he marked the occasion with a stunning free-kick to give his side the lead. Former Manchester City forward Ferran Torres scored the other goal, as Barca wrapped up the league title in the sweetest way possible.
When quizzed on the moment of magic for his opener, he added, "No, I wasn't going to shoot. I wasn't going to shoot and then... because when I put the ball down I didn't see the angles. I didn't feel confident it was going to be a goal, so I was going to cross. But then everyone is telling me to shoot and then I hyped myself up a little bit.
"It was good I shot in the end as it was a good goal."
Rashford was also asked what he had made of his season playing for Barcelona in general. He continued: "It's really good. I come here to win. So this is... I want to win as many things as I can. So, this is one more to add to this. Yeah, this team is a wonderful team. They're going to win so much in the future as well. So, to be a part of that would be special. So we will see."
