Marc Guehi will not be short of suitors for his services next summer as it appears a third European giant has joined the race to sign him after his deadline day transfer to Liverpool failed to materialise.
The 25-year-old England international defender and Crystal Palace captain appeared set to move to Anfield on transfer deadline day after entering the final year of his deal at Selhurst Park.
A transfer fee of £35m plus add-ons was agreed between Palace and Liverpool and Guehi looked like he was going to be moving to the Premier League champions.
However, the move did not ultimately come to pass after it collapsed following Palace's failure to sign a replacement for the outgoing Guehi.

Guehi joined Palace from Chelsea in the summer of 2021 for a reported £18m transfer fee and has gone on to score nine goals in 162 appearances for the Eagles since then.

He has been part of a Palace squad which won the FA Cup last season and beat Liverpool in the Community Shield at the beginning of this campaign.
Following his move to Anfield collapsing, Guehi remains a Palace player and, as things stand, will be able to depart Selhurst Park for nothing next summer when his current deal expires.

The last chance Palace have to recoup a transfer fee for Guehi will be in the January transfer window a few months from now.

Guehi will not have a shortage of suitors for his services next summer with him being available on a Bosman, after making it clear to Palace he has no interest in penning a new deal at Selhurst Park.
It means the England international will be on the move to pastures new next summer, with Liverpool among the clubs interested in him and will be hoping to land their man at the second time of asking.

But several European giants are also reportedly eying a move for Guehi and a third club has now entered the race for the defender's services.
According to the Daily Express, German club Bayern Munich are monitoring the Palace defender alongside El Clasico duo Real Madrid and Barcelona.
Italian duo Juventus and Inter Milan are also said to be 'keen' on Guehi.
A key advantage any European side has over Liverpool is that from January 1, a pre-contract agreement can be sought with Guehi, meaning a move to the continent can be negotiated ahead of any possible switch to another English club.
