Manchester United have reportedly opened talks to sign Paris Saint-Germain star Bradley Barcola during the summer transfer window.
United are in the market for a new attacker this summer and could make a move for the 23-year-old as they prepare for their return to the Champions League.
PSG would prefer to keep Barcola if possible, but contract talks are understood to have stalled amid his frustration over a recent lack of playing time.
The French forward has seen his role reduced following the arrival of Khvicha Kvaratskhelia in January 2025, though he still made 49 appearances across all competitions last season.

Barcola was reportedly 'deeply disappointed' not to start either Champions League semi-final or the final, as the French champions defeated Arsenal to lift the trophy.
Despite that setback, Barcola has done enough to earn a place in France's squad for the 2026 World Cup and will hope to feature when they face Senegal in their opening match on Tuesday night. However, that also appears unlikely after he failed to start either of their pre-tournament warm-up matches.
According to L'Equipe, while PSG want to retain Barcola, they understand his situation and would be willing to sanction a departure this summer if a suitable offer arrives and a replacement can be secured.
Alongside United's interest, the report claims Arsenal and Liverpool are both monitoring Barcola's situation should he become available for transfer.
A separate report from talkSPORT states that Barcola, who scored 13 goals and provided seven assists last season, is valued at £60 million this summer. With two years remaining on his current contract, PSG are under no immediate pressure to sell the winger during the upcoming transfer window.
If United decide to pursue Barcola, they are likely to face strong competition from domestic rivals Arsenal and Liverpool. Both clubs have been heavily linked with the PSG forward and arguably have a greater need to strengthen their attacking options this summer.
Arsenal are keen to sign a new left winger as they look to build on their Premier League title triumph, while Liverpool are in desperate need of a forward after the departure of club legend Mohamed Salah.
United remain interested in adding an attacker this summer, but their main focus is a midfield overhaul, with as many as three arrivals expected. Michael Carrick's side could also target a full-back and a backup goalkeeper, while a striker is considered a more likely addition than another wide forward.
