The transfer fee that is being discussed for Andy Robertson's stunning switch to Tottenham has emerged and Liverpool fans are furious.
The winter transfer window deadline (February 2) is looming as clubs across the country are aiming to secure reinforcements for their squads ahead of the second half of the season.
Spurs have already recruited Conor Gallagher from Atletico Madrid in a deal worth £34 million.
And Thomas Frank is keen for further signings in a bid to turn his side's fortunes around.

Spurs are enduring yet another miserable Premier League campaign following last season's 17th-placed finish.
They find themselves in 14th, having won just seven league games this season.
Spurs, however, are in a commanding position to advance to the next round of the Champions League.

With the transfer deadline approaching, Frank has identified Liverpool defender Robertson, who is out of contract at the end of the season.
A mid-season move is expected, with Spurs and Liverpool locked in negotiations
According to Sky Sports' Vinny O'Connor, a package of £5 million is being discussed.
O'Connor claims preliminary talks have started and an outcome is expected in the next few days.
Once the £5 million fee emerged online, Liverpool fans immediately hit out at the transfer as they made their feelings known online.
One X user wrote: "I really don’t understand the logic in this deal at all, Robo has the experience and is a great backup to [Milos] Kerkez and still has a big part to play."
A second said: "Really? Robbo for £5m?"
A third added: "I'd rather keep our best left back ever, our vice captain than selling him for £5m mid season to a team whom we might end up facing in next few months in the ucl knockout stages."
Referencing Liverpool chief Richard Hughes, another commented: "For £5m keep him, he’s still a decent player and having Kerkez and Robbo at LB is a solid option. Hughes seems to forget of our injury worries within the defence."

Robertson has played second-fiddle to Kerkez, who was snapped up last summer.
The veteran Scot has played 21 games this season, including 13 league appearances.
But most of his showings have come off the bench.
Despite being Liverpool's back-up left-back since the arrival of Kerkez, Liverpool fans believe the club shouldn't sanction the deal given his experience and the measly fee.
