A group of Premier League clubs have been linked with a January transfer window swoop for former Aston Villa striker Jhon Duran.
The 22-year-old Colombia international joined Villa in January 2023 from MLS side Chicago Fire for a reported transfer fee of £14.75m initially, with a possible further £3m in add-ons.
Over the next two years at Villa Park, Duran went on to score 20 goals in 78 appearances across all competitions.
Duran's time at Villa came to an end towards the conclusion of last season's January transfer window when he moved to Saudi Pro League team Al Nassr for an initial reported transfer fee of £64m plus add-ons, meaning Unai Emery's side made a healthy profit on the striker.

Duran scored 12 goals in 18 appearances for Al Nassr in the second half of last season.
The striker is currently on loan at Turkish side Fenerbahce after joining the Istanbul outfit for the campaign.
He currently has five goals in 21 appearances for Fenerbahce during his time there, but speculation has emerged surrounding the Colombia international - who has three goals in 17 caps for his country - and where he could be playing in the not too distant future.
There is just over a day left in the January transfer window, which is due to close at 7pm on Monday 2 February in the Premier League.

Duran played against his former side Villa last month when Fenerbahce met the Villans in the Europa League, with Jadon Sancho's strike ensuring a 1-0 victory for Emery's men.
And Duran could be facing other Premier League sides on a weekly basis after reports linked several of them with a swoop for the striker before tomorrow's deadline.
According to a report from TEAMtalk, intermediaries have approached several English top flight teams about Duran, with Tottenham Hotspur and Leeds United among those sides said to have been contacted.
Three other Premier League sides mentioned in the report are Newcastle United, Crystal Palace and Nottingham Forest.
Spurs have been mentioned as potential suitors due to the prospect of Duran being a replacement for Paris Saint-Germain loanee Randal Kolo Muani, who Juventus are keen to sign following the player's underwhelming spell for Thomas Frank's side.
Leeds meanwhile could lose out in their pursuit of Wolves striker Jorgen Strand Larsen, whom Palace had agreed a deal worth £50m for, but is in the balance at present.
Other European sides said to be interested in Duran include Juventus and French side Lille.
