Man Utd set new Jadon Sancho price tag amid interest from two clubs and it looks like a typo

Manchester United have reportedly lowered their asking price for Jadon Sancho amid interest from two huge European clubs.

Sancho is one of the four remaining members of United's so called 'bomb squad' following Marcus Rashford's loan move to FC Barcelona.

The group, which also includes Alejandro Garnacho, Antony and Tyrell Malacia are all expected to move on as United's boss Ruben Amorim looks to raise funds for a new centre forward.

Although Amorim suggested he would reintegrate the quartet, their exclusion from the club's pre-season tour suggests that is far from the preferred plan.

Sancho returned to Old Trafford this summer following a season-long loan at Chelsea.

The Blues declined to make the move permanent and instead opted to pay a £5m penalty fee to avoid triggering their £25m obligation.

As a result, United are again looking to offload the 25-year-old.

The Daily Mail report that United would now accept an offer of between £15m and £17m for the 25-year-old.

There is interest from Juventus and his old club Borussia Dortmund, where he also spent the second half of the 2023/24 campaign on loan.

How did Jadon Sancho get to this position?

Just four years ago Manchester United signed Sancho from Borussia Dortmund for £73m, with the winger arriving as one of Europe's brightest young prospects.

After a mixed couple of seasons at Old Trafford, he publicly fell out with then manager Erik ten Hag in 2023 and was banished from the squad.

He secured a loan deal in January 2024 to Dortmund, where he played a key role in their run to the UEFA Champions League final.

But the German side did not follow up their interest in the Englishman the following summer and decided against making a permanent offer.

Instead Chelsea, who have long been admirers of Sancho brought him in.

He had a mixed campaign last year at Stamford Bridge, scoring five goals and registering 10 assists across 41 games, which included a goal in their Conference League final victory over Real Betis.

But the Blues and Sancho were unable to agree on personal terms and he returned to Old Trafford,

Although Ten Hag has since departed, there is no indication that him and Amorim want to work together.

And for many United supporters, the relationship between themselves is already irreparable.

Sancho increasingly looks like he needs to get away from Old Trafford to reignite a once promising career.
