Ivan Toney's future at Brentford is still uncertain, although he is looking more and more likely to leave the club.

Toney, 28, has attracted the attention of Premier League clubs Chelsea, Arsenal and Tottenham so far this summer.

With just a year left on his current deal with the Bees, the England international is likely to move on in the next 12 months, but where to remains the question.

According to the latest odds provided by BetVictor, Manchester United have emerged as a surprise contender.

Erik ten Hag's side have already signed Joshua Zirkzee this summer, but may now need further reinforcements after Rasmus Hojlund suffered an injury in pre-season.

A move to Old Trafford for Toney is currently priced at just 2/1.

Tottenham (3/1) and Arsenal (4/1) are also front-runners in the race to land the former Newcastle man.

The Red Devils are still expected to be busy in the market, with moves for Jarrad Branthwaite (1/4) and Matthijs De Ligt (1/4) also given heavily-favoured odds.

Jadon Sancho's future also remains uncertain with their said to be interest from Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint-Germain.

Ten Hag has since spoken out on his summer plans, insisting time will tell which players United chose to pull the trigger on.

"I want the squad as strong as possible," Ten Hag told reporters in the United States.

"We already made two very good buys, so when everyone is fit we have a team that can beat everyone.

"But also in squad depth, we have to catch-up.

"We know that because [when] we had injuries, we are vulnerable, and we have to avoid this. First, by getting less injuries and picking up less injuries.

"And second, our squad has to be that good in depth. Of course, the quality we have, but in the depth we have to catch up. And even more, because this will be a season that is survival of the fittest."
